Tsungirirai is the Associate Partner at the firm. She holds an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of South Africa. She is a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe, the Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association and the Institute of Directors (IODZ). Tsungirirai started her career in the legal field as a legal assistant at Justice for Children, a Non-Governmental Organisation that focuses on issues affecting minor children from marginalized communities.
There she was involved in offering voluntary legal assistance to children. She was also involved in advocacy and community engagement with regards to children’s rights. In February 2016 Tsungirirai joined the law firm as a professional assistant. She rose through the ranks to become an Associate Partner in April 2019.
Tsungirirai is also a researcher for the World Bank’s Doing Business and has been submitting a report annually since 2016.
She was awarded a scholarship by the University of Lund (Sweden) and the Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa (TRAPCA) to pursue a diploma in Trade Law and Investment. Currently she is pursuing a Masters’ Degree in Corporate Law. Her areas of practice are Banking and Commercial litigation as well as family law.
