Our core business is the provision of corporate legal advice. Our services have attracted the hearts of an array of both private and public institutions. It is the firm’s objective to give sound legal solutions to ensure the growth and sustenance of our clients.
A lesser portion of the firm’s legal work is directed towards fighting human rights violations by the State against individuals. The firm also conducts criminal defences at all levels.

This department is a very vibrant one and at any given time handles an average of 50 (fifty) transfers a month. Currently it is dealing with the transfer of more than 500 (five hundred) residential stands in Harare for one of the leading property developers in Zimbabwe, Assetfin (Pvt) Ltd. It is also involved in preparation of leases and agreements of sale of immovable property.
Estate administration comes in as another valuable service in our portfolio of services. A host of individuals have found the quality of our service in this area irresistible, and their religious commitment to us has further consolidated the position of the firm.
5. LITIGATION DEPARTMENT
The firm litigates across all the full range of services. The firm takes cognisance of the expensive and time consuming nature of litigation and is settlement oriented. However, where this becomes futile, we become uncompromisingly combative to the very end. We only litigate after meticulously assessing our prospects of success. Our high skills in litigation work, reflect well in the success we score. The firm has a ninety percent rate of winning at all levels.
This department has a test case programme whereby new and burning legal issues are identified and argued upon at the High Courts. This programme is there to facilitate the introduction of necessary changes in law.
OUR INTERNATIONAL WORK
The firm has established relationships with regional and international trademark and patent attorneys. It also acts as corresponding attorneys for a number of international leading attorneys. The firm is also closely associated with one of Europe’s leading law firms, WANGER.
One of the firm’s partners, Mr. O.C. Gutu, has provided legal advice to Telecel International, one of the world’s leading telecommunications corporations.
Mr. O.C. Gutu is also involved in an active immigration law practice representing clients based overseas interested in securing either permanent or temporary residence permits in Zimbabwe.
OUR CLIENT RELATIONS & COSTS
The firm is inspired to give a quality service, and at the earliest possible time. It is the firm’s policy to explain to clients the constraints, foreseen and unforeseen, that might crop up during our interaction. During the conduct of our work, we also make it a firm habit to report to clients regarding developments with their matters.
We believe that in order to build our strength, and maintain a professional outlook, we must accept criticism where it is deserved. As such, clients are allowed to complain, where they are unhappy with our service.
It is also a policy of the firm to occasionally send questionnaires to clients to get feedback on the quality of our services. The questionnaire also invites clients to suggest methods of improving our services. We do this because we believe clients are part of us, and our growth is only assured if we maintain current clientele. After all it is said, a bird in hand is worth two in the bush!
Our fees are based on the Law Society tariff. We charge according to time spent on the job, and the complexity of the matter.
